IV. ELIGIBILITY

The pilot project must take place in the US-Mexico Border region. Although not a requirement, the stronger projects will hopefully be binational in nature.
The Principal Investigator on the project must:

• be appointed in, or have collaborations with one of the regionally-based public health / environmental institutions or institutions of higher education, OR
• be affiliated with a binational health / environmental organization or binational community-based organization on the U.S.-Mexico Border, OR
• be appointed in one of the research colleges in the border states OR
• be an employee of a local or state public health or environmental agency
